I havn’t always been a fan of the blueberry… But lately I just can’t get enough. I have been doing some reading about how to get the best produce, and I think there is a lot to be said for buying seasonal fruit and vegetables.

My first pleasant blueberry experience was in London a few years ago, for some reason the berries were bigger juicer and fruitier! Spanish blueberries will forever be my favourite.

Here are 8 great ways to incorporate blueberries into your diet and recipes.

  1. Throw into pancake mix
  2. Mix into waffles mix
  3. Serve topped with granola and a little coconut yoghurt
  4. Pop into some gluten free porridge.
  5. Blueberry overnight oats – Layer Gluten free quick cook oats, blueberries, oats, blueberries, oats, top with peanut butter and top up with a almond milk.
  6. Grab a handful to snack on
  7. Blitz into a smoothie
  8. Mix in a fruit salad
