Gluten Free Brisbane City Queensland - Saffron on Creek

I am new to the G-free diet. Having been on it for only a few days and still feeling the residual effects of (4 months of) sickness, I was apprehensive about meeting a friend for lunch.

She took me to:

They had a decent range of gluten free menu items which was fantastic.

I ordered the tiger prawns with risotto cakes - only to be told they were phasing it out of the menu...

BUT the friendly waitress told me that they were introducing another prawn meal in its place and described garlic prawns with feta, salad.. and foccacia bread. When I explained I was after primarily a G-Free meal - she didn't hesitate to state that they could definitely do a G-Free version for me.

The meal was fantastic (and didn't make me sick) and arrived with two slices of (tasty) G-Free bread on my plate in place of the focaccia.
I would definitely recommend Saffron and I will be going there again :)
