It is slim pickings in the kitchen these days when it comes to sweet treats. I have been avoiding my flatmates nightly ice cream run, but last night I had done some exercise and it was time for chocolate. I remembered late last year making my own ice blocks and the mixture tasting a lot like chocolate mousse, so I decided to modify the recipe to make a deliciously light chocolate mousse with no gluten or dairy.
Gluten Free Dairy Free Chocolate Mousse

A delicious avacado and banana based gluten and dairy free mousse.

Ingredients
- Avocado
- 1 REALLY ripe almost overripe banana
- 2 Heaped Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
- Vanilla Essence
- 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
Instructions
- Whizz everything up in a bowl with a stick blender, pulsing up and down to get some air in it.
- Split into two small bowls or small jars.
Notes
- I like to put mine in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill... in this case I couldn't wait and scarfed the whole lot down.
