Macadamia nuts are one of my favorite snacks to have on hand. Because they are a protein they curb insulin levels and stop me from being so hungry between meals.
I try not to get anything to salted (or chocolate covered) so the nutritional value is higher).
I normally buy a bag at the supermarket and put them into smaller Tupperware to have in my handbag or lunch box for work.
By having something small I find I am less likely to snack of sugary convenience food - and its easier to wait until I get home at meal times.
