coeliac fibromyalgia
by: Maggie Munce

Hi, I've been coeliac all my life, and I also have fibromyalgia, which continues. It gets worse with gluten of cause, weather changes, stress etc. Have been GF since 2004, at age 48.

A Gluten Free Survival Guide by Elisabeth Hasselbeck

When doing research on gluten intolerance have found info that suggests there is a connection. Have just read 'The G Free Diet - A Gluten Free Survival Guide by Elisabeth Hasselbeck and the symptoms listed in that are certainly similar.

Fibromyalgia

Hi Thanks for posting your story! Sounds like you are on the right track now. There's a good book out called "The Gluten Effect" It explains how gluten effects the different glands & hormone systems of the body.

My fibro story short version
by: Anonymous

I was diagnosed with Firbromyalgia (sorry my speeling is terrible) first and then a couple years later I finally got what I considered my real answer which was sever malnutrition and celiac. I was just about to be wheelchair bound as the malnutrition had robbed my body so badly that my legs were about 70% numb and losing alot of function. My belief is that Fibro comes from lack of nutrition and which could also be linked to Celiac disease. I was a total mess with my health but to look at me everyone said that I looked fine but that was far from the truth. Now that I have the nutrition up I really don't have much for firbo pain unless I am doing alot of strain on the body in a period of time. Like standing cleaning fruit or painting for several hours at a time but that would probally come with some that doesn't even have the lable of Firbomyalgia. Good luck.
