Me too 6 months GF and getting there
by: PJ

Hi, It's been six months of a GF diet for me and I am feeling much better that I did a few months ago, but it a slow process. My stomach pains have gone, but I still feel drained and dizzy some days, the head fuzz is slowly going and I am starting to get back in to sports and long walks etc, so I am hopeful my full strenght will come back over a year or two. Its a long road to recovery unfortunatley.

Thought I didn't feel better either until!
by: Anonymous

Hi guys,I have just discovered I am gluten intolerant by way of an ellimination diet and thought I didnt feel that different on it unil I reintroduced gluten and it hit me like a ton of bricks! I have discovered my headaches fibromyalgia and bloating & lots more are all associated with this but the improvments on the diet had hapened so slowly over the 4 weeks I was off gluten that I didnt even notice! Now every time I eat gluten the reaction is worse & worse!

Gluten free for 7 years
by: Anonymous

I have been gluten free for 7 years now and it did take quite a few years before I started to feel better. I was 29 when diagnosed and was sick for most of my life, getting worse as I got older. Be patient.

Good Things Take Time
by: Anonymous

It'll take a while to start feeling good again, it took me around six months to feel good, just remember to be careful with cross contamination with non gluten free foods, and be gentle on yourself, you'll soon feel good.

my timeline
by: Anonymous

It took my system the best part of 6 months before I had any noticeable change. Stick with it, it will be worth it in the end. The hard part is getting gluten out of your pantry ie commercial stock like you use in soups, some ice creams, soy sauce, anything commercially prepared.

Coeliac - Gluten Free for 3 Weeks No better
by: Nadine

I am in the same boat as you. I have only just been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease and I feel no different after 3 weeks Gluten Free. I have been told by the Doctor that it may take months for any major improvement.
