anewyearanewlucyHappy New Year to all my favourite Gluten Free readers out there! To be honest I was not a big fan of 2013 after multiple family members having strokes, blood clots and medical complications. So here is to a happy healthy New Year.

What’s new in 2014

I am on a bit of a “life style makeover” role at the moment after putting on around 6 kgs over the holiday season (and lead up to it). With so many Christmas parties, barbecues, ciders and fries… it can be easy to pack on the pounds! I was HORRIFIED to stand on the scales on the 5 of January to find my weight had crept up to 79.9kgs. This is the heaviest I have ever been… I did not really realise. My body sort of started to fall apart while I was camping with some friends over the holidays – this was the wake up call I needed to start looking after myself better

Beware of sweatpants!

I guess I should be weary of working from home and wearing workout gear most day! Sometimes a lady needs a sturdy waist band to let her know when she needs to dial it back.

My New Years Health Resolutions:

  • To drop 9.9 kgs and get back to my healthy happy weight
  • To improve my posture
  • To use a stand up desk for a few hours a day
  • To practice yoga more often
  • To make small modifications to my diet rather then going crazy then binging and try eat more real food!
  • Enjoy my work from home lifestyle more.
  • Get my health and beauty e-commerce website up and running.
  • Look after my skin better

I think these are completely achievable and I am hoping you can keep my accountable to my goals.
