I have had a bad reaction recently so I am finding chocolate scary for the first time since going gluten free.

I find that manufacturers seem to be changing ingredients all the time… just when I find a product I think I can use… BAM I get a reaction… then upon further investigation I see the center of my favorite caramellow chocolate has switched from corn glucose to wheat glucose.

Does anyone know a chocolate brand who is staying true to their gluten free status?

Yes – I know to well the pain that comes when trusted brands change their ingredients…

There is nothing worse then getting a reaction from something you trust.

I find when buying chocolate I try and go for a higher quality dark chocolate (less ingredients – higher purity – less fillers and chemicals in it.)

Sometimes it is best to avoid all the numbers that are in our “food” I like to choose 72% cocoa chocolates as usually they are diary free.

It pays to keep reading the labels or buy chocolate from your gluten free section of the supermarket.

I love dark chocolate… and I eat less because its so rich… that is my suggestion anyway.

Happy chocolate eating.
