trail mix
Gluten Free Trail Mix.

I got this idea off my mother – she brought some beautiful look gluten free muesli at the market and was keeping it in a jar in the cupboard. 

Now I am not much for eating cereal… as I do not drink milk – and I don’t like the way soy milk tastes on my cereal so I reached in a grabbed a spoonful and ate it “raw”.

Now because this muesli was full of soft dried fruits, nuts, banana chips and little quinoah it was great this way.

So today’s snack of the day is home made trail mix.

Combine:

  • Baby Quinoa, 
  • Banana Chips
  • Dried Apricot Pieces
  • Dried Apple Pieces
  • Dried Mango Pieces
  • Brazil Nuts
  • Almonds
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Shredded Coconut

And any of your other favorite seeds and nuts and fried fruits.

Toast them in honey in the oven.
